Dr. Suhail Farooq is a surgically trained gastrointestinal specialist with experience in general surgery, advanced Surgical Gastroenterology, HPB surgery and liver transplantation. He completed MBBS at Government Medical College, Srinagar, followed by MS General Surgery at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, where his CV records first position in the university. He then completed three years of superspeciality training in Surgical Gastroenterology at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.

His professional journey has included roles at KEM Hospital, Fortis Hospital Noida, Fortis Hospital Vasant Kunj and Fortis Escorts Liver & Digestive Institute, New Delhi. His documented clinical exposure includes liver and pancreatic surgery, biliary reconstruction, oesophageal and gastric surgery, colorectal resections, minimally invasive hernia surgery and liver transplantation.
