Dr. Suhail Farooq is a Surgical Gastroenterologist with a professional background spanning general surgery, complex gastrointestinal surgery, HPB surgery and liver transplantation. His work has included inpatient and outpatient management, surgical critical care, bedside procedures and participation in a wide spectrum of open and minimally invasive GI operations.

He graduated with MBBS from Government Medical College, Srinagar, and completed MS General Surgery at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences. His CV records first position in the university during MS training. He later undertook three years of superspeciality training in Surgical Gastroenterology at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.
